05.04.04 Visit Log – what to do when remote-monitoring?

In the advent of remote-monitoring, who owns and signs the monitoring form, if there is no ‘site-staff’ physically present. The site IT department has access to who has ‘logged-on’ to the system, but may not provide the sponsor with that log and if so, is that sufficient proof that an individual monitored? We are documenting who monitored on our IMVRs and document the remote-monitoring process in a filenote. Is that sufficient?
