my questions is about PDF/A format. As to my understanding this is the best choice to ensure the documentation is accessible over long period of time, and thus preferable for long-term archiving. How does your company ensure that at the point of archiving ALL the documentation has an appropriate format (PDF/A)?
-Is there a “bulk” conversion of all documents at the end of the study?
-Is it done for each document PRIOR to filing to TMF (e.g. at the records management hub)?
-or do you have this as one of the requirements BEFORE the document can be sent for filing?
